SocialErasmus project was established in Poland back in May of 2008 and quickly became one of most successful projects of our network. The project’s goal is to offer opportunities to international students to get closer to the local community where they can engage in social and volunteering activities exploring the added value that resides in the diversity of Europe.
SocialErasmus has three main areas where all the actions are focused on, the areas are: education, ecological and social activities. Our main idea is to promote a social attitude to exchange students all over Europe in order for them to obtain special, diverse and fresh experiences during their exchange period.
SocialErasmus also demonstrate that mobility does not only mean traveling or studying abroad, but also having a dynamic enga¬gement with the local communities, a better cultural understanding and also inspire local students to study abroad.
